Indie88 launched on July 31, 2013 is a Toronto based Indie Rock format station owned by Central Ontario Broadcasting. CRTC approved the radio legally known as CIND-FM on Sep 11, 2012 when Rock 95 Broadcasting Ltd. applied for a commercial FM. It was proposed that Indie format station would get a frequency of 88.1 MHz using an ERP of 532 w. After streaming the radio online ever since the licensing and soft launch on July 31, 2013 the station officially started its broadcasts on Sep 3, 2013. 88.1 MHz was formerly used by CKLN-FM and the Central Ontario Broadcasting already had ownership to Rock 95 and 107.5 Kool FM. Max and avg. wattage was incremented to 4,000 and 2,100 w on Dec 1, 2013.

The audience share of the radio as per Numeris ratings in 2014 was 1.3. In 2015 and 2016 Lana Gay and Knihnitski respectively joined the CIND-FM.
