CHOA-FM-1 103.5 at Val-d’Or is a Francophone broadcast relay station of WOW 96,5 Rouyn-Noranda. The transmitter was operational since 1990. The effective radiated power was decreased to 44,300 w in 1993. Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission approved an additional repeater on Sep 8, 1993 which would broadcast on a frequency of 96.5 MHz using an ERP of 50 w. ERP was again increased to 100,000 w in 1995 before finally setting on 67,075 w in 2017. The satellite is a property of RNC Media and is branded as WOW FM 103.5 (previously Rythme FM).
