107.5 Kool FM aka CKMB-FM is a Hot AC station operating in Barrie and owned by Rock 95 Broadcasting Ltd. Rock 95 Broadcasting Ltd. received the license of the station on May 5, 2000; the new contemporary hits station would broadcast on a frequency of 107.5 MHz using an ERP of 26,000 w. CKMB was launched as Star 107.5 from its studios and offices at 400 Bayfield Street North, Suite 205. CRTC allowed the Rock 95 to change its frequency to 107.7 MHz and decrease ERP (Max) to 30,000 w in Aug 2004. Average ERP was increased to 20,000 in 2005.
