CBCN-FM is a rebroadcaster of CBC Radio One Sudbury 99.9 FM (CBCS-FM) serving in North Bay, Ontario. The repeater is on air since July 9, 1976 n a frequency of 96.1 FM using and ERP of 100,000 watts. Class C channel’s license was renewed on May 28, 2013 until Aug 31, 2018. Morning North, Up North and Points North (no longer available) are very popular among local audiences. There were plans to maintain a local news bureau for the North Bay however, CBC couldn’t materialize it. As of 2017 the satellite gets its local programing and news form CBCN.
