CJLR-5-FM (MBC Network Radio)

CJLR-5-FM 92.9 FM is repeater of the CJLR-FM La Ronge, the flagship channel of MBC Radio Network serving the First Nations and Aboriginal communities of the Canada. Missinipi Broadcasting Corporation which serves over 70 communities in Saskatchewan received the approval of CRTC on October 25, 2006 to launch a relay transmitter in Yorkton on a frequency of 92.9 MHz and using an ERP of 1,260 watts. In 2009 the technical parameters were approved to reset resulting in the decrement of wattage from 1,600 to 1,540 with also involving a change in antenna site. First Nations and Métis radio has content available in English and Cree and Dene.
