Jewel 92.5 or CHRC-FM is a Dufferin Communications Inc. owned Soft AC station operating on a frequency of 92.5 MHz and broadcasting in Clarence-Rockland (formed after the unification of Rockland and Clarence Township in the east of Ottawa). CRTC granted Dufferin to set up an English language commercial FM at Clarence-Rockland. The proposed station would get a frequency of 92.5 MHz using an ERP of 300 w. Adult Contemporary radio would air 126 hours of local programming per week. A minimum of 18 hours would be dedicated to spoken word. After signal tests on Oct 7, 2013 CHRC singed on air on Oct 15, 2013 but was broadcasting online since Sep 2013. News, sports, weather updates, agricultural reports and more can be listened online.
