Powr 99.1 FM Saskatchewan - CFMM-FMPower 99 FM Prince Albert, SK launched on January 31, 1982 and owned by Jim Pattison Broadcast Group is a Hot AC format station that broadcasts from Saskatchewan. 900 CKBI and Mix 101 FM are the sibling stations of the Power 99. Legally known by its call-sign CFMM-FM, the channel was started by Central Broadcasting Co. Ltd after recovering an approval by CRTC in 1981; the Middle of the Road music would be played on the station airing on a frequency of 99.1 MHz with an ERP of 100,000 watts. CFMM progressed with a couple of staff changes and renewals followed by installation of a new transmitter: CFMM-FM-1 at Waskesiu Lake @ 92.1 MHz with power: 58 watts in July 2001. The effective radiated power of the CFMM was increased from 58 to 2,500 watts in January 2003 after the approval of CRTC. Rawlco Radio Ltd., the licensee had renewed its license by CRTC on May 28, 2010 for a six year term until August 31, 2016.
