The transmitter operating at 99.5 FM was added to the Christian radio network on February 2, 2002 after the approval of CRTC; Bay Roberts, Lewisporte, Deer Lake, Springdale, Wabush, Botwood and couple others being the others approved locations or FM facilities. License of the Christian Family Radio was approved in October 2008 to August 2015.
