DYFR-FM 98.7 is a Religious and news radio that first singed on air on Oct 1975 from Cebu City. The Life Changing Radio is the catchphrase of multilingual channel broadcasts in Cebuano, English and Chinese. Mary Grace Nemeño is the station manager of 98.7 DYFR-FM. Far East Broadcasting Company, the owner of the FM operates it from the studios and transmitter site located at Immanuel Bible College Compound, Banawa Hills in Cebu City. The current power and ERP of DYFR-FM are 10,000 and 32,000 watts respectively. The plans at the launch of the station were to set it on AM frequency, but could not be materialized because of the inaccessibility of frequencies.
