Monster RX93.1 is a Pasig City Contemporary Hit radio owned by Audiovisual Communicators, Inc. Formerly known as DWEI-FM, the radio was established in 1973 under the ownership of Liberty Broadcasting Corporation; Middle of the Road was the format at that time. The channel was then acquired by Audiovisual Communicators headed by Freddie Garcia and Rene Lacson. DWEI became DWRX-FM on Aug 23, 1983. Pop entered into the station on its relaunch. Music City RX93 was #1 in the mid-1980s. Studios were relocated to Ortigas from the Makati facility in 1987. DWRX-FM was branded as Light Rock RX93 at that time. Once again the branding would change as Monster RX 93.1 in Oct 1990 and Pop was the new switch.
